Temporary waiver of the Domain Restore Fee
30th March 2020
Google Registry is looking at ways to support businesses and entrepreneurs who might be struggling in these uncertain times.
Effective Monday, March 30th, 2020 (4:00 pm UTC), Google Registry will waive the Domain Restore Fee for redemptions on all of our TLDs, charging only the usual domain renewal fee. The waiver will remain in place until at least Monday, August 3rd, 2020 (4:00 pm UTC). All remaining provisions of the Pricing Policy for each Google Registry RRA will remain in effect during this period.
We hope this waiver will help registrants avoid additional costs as they manage their domains, and businesses, during the current extraordinary conditions.
